I'm obsessed with hiking the to the Wind Caves on Thanksgiving morning,

With people I adore!

At TG dinner, Raven, River and Saige went through the line for food, which included turkey, stuffing, and every side/dessert you could imagine. All three ended up with a huge plate of Papa's Taters. Period. All three went back for seconds. Which consisted of... Papa's Taters. I completely understand. Why bother with "sides" when you can fill up on taters?

The girls had fun walking on Uncle Tommy's border,

And looking pretty.

Secret stayed glued to Rhea-Rhea's hip.

Meadow promptly informed everyone that she is "CRAZY about Uncle Bobby!" Bobby and Michelle were here, visiting from Colorado. We even got to hog them up to ourselves one of the nights. Loved it.

Bobby impressed us all with the violin that he built from scratch!

I love watching my Dad watching Bobby play the violin. So proud!

River and his "Sr. Him". Or Bobby and his "Mini Me". Either way, they are twinkie-dinks!

Turkey Day Festivities

Mr. Raven got to ditch a day of school to help serve the Preschoolers
Turkey Sandwiches,

And other assorted "feasty" items.

We played Pin the Feather on the Turkey,

And made cute Rice Crispy Turkeys.

Seeky LOVES getting in on the preschool action!

Loving The Tooth Fairy

Meadow had a tooth pulled.

She had an abscess that Mother-of-the-Year (me) blew off as a canker soar until we went in for a cleaning and the dentist said, "This tooth needs to be pulled." Mother=Embarrassed. Meadow=Thrilled! She has older brothers, so she knows all about our little friend, the Tooth Fairy.

I had a feeling she was going to be up early and pumped, so I left my camcorder on my night stand. The video is from when she came in to tell us about the T.F. Don't mind my "extra sexy" scratchy voice. It's 3:45 AM.

Tea and Ponies

Little Miss Coral turned 3...

And since Nat Ann doesn't "kinda" do something, she threw Miss Coral Ray the Tea Party of the Century.
The girls were pampered with Make Up,

Fancy Hair Do's,

Hats, Gloves, Fans,

And Pony Rides.
Meadow rode the pony approximately 23 times.

Secret rode the pony approximately once.

And Heaven rode the pony approximately not in a million years!

Our 20 Hour Camping Trip

The kids were DYING to go camping,

So we loaded up the van (mostly with JUNK FOOD),

And drove 20 minutes to a near by

"Park and Camp" Spot.

It had everything we needed from fire pit to flushing toilets.
(Uncle Aaron was NOT included with the campground, we had to bring him ourselves)

We drank Hot Chocolate,

And played with Glow Sticks
(Until Seeky chewed through one and got it all over me. Bye-Bye glow sticks.)

In the morning the boys hiked the Wind Caves.
