i have a SECRET... i'm in LOVE

Yes-sir-ee, Miss Secret, you picked a good name for yourself.
Thanks for the "sign" about WHAT your middle name would be...
Oh, and you better believe that "I love you" right back!

I promise I took this picture yesterday...

Didn't I?

You were the BEST birthday present we could have given Meadow... her very own ALIVE baby-doll. When I went to the hospital on Meadow's birthday and told her you might be born on the same day as her, she said, "Oh! Thank-you!!"

Really? Am I really helping you open your birthday presents? Is it possible that you are already ONE?

Yes... it seems like your first year of life has flow by. But, at the same time, I can't even imagine one minute of NOT having you in our family.

Every last one of us are 100% CRAZY 'bout cha!!!
Happiest birthday, sweet little LOVE!

Dear Meadow Rae-Rae,

Happy Birthday To YOU!

The answer is: Yes, I will go to 4 different stores in search of Barbie Cereal, only to discover that Barbie has been replaced by Hannah Montana (whom you informed me is "too cool" for you cause your "just a little girl"!) in the cereal department. Good thing that:
1. They still make Barbie fruit snacks.
2. Hannah Montana Cereal is pink and purple.
3. We had construction paper and tape on hand.
The end product... one happy Lucy-Bug to get your specially requested birthday breakfast of Barbie Cereal.

Make a wish!

Someone was excited about opening presents on the trampoline!
(I wish MY lips made a perfect heart when I opened them)

Yay! An upgraded microphone. Now you don't have to use the hammer from Secret's baby toy anymore.

We LOVE you, Miss Rae-Rae
From your head,

To your toes.

A review of past birthday parties...
The original BIRTHday (awwwwwwwh... cute angel baby girl)

Your 1 year old party (Aloha!)

You put your OWN make up "all by self" for your 2nd b-day party.

You recruited some help from Auntie Rhea-Rhea to prepare for your 3 year old Princess Party.

Rhea-Rhea recruited some help (artificial hair extensions) to prepare for your 4 year old Princess Party.
Can't wait to see number 5.

Happy Birthday to a TRUE PRINCESS... you really are even more beautiful on the inside than you are on the outside. I love you to the tip of the angel's wings.
Mama.

a whole lot of PINK

What do you get when you have 2 little girls with birthdays 1 day apart?
Why... a Princess Party, of course!

Princess Meadow
(hair extensions, thanks to Auntie Rhea-Rhea, for the occasion)

Princess Secret
(scalp freshly shined and kissed, thanks to Mama, for the occasion)

At the party, the guests received royal treatment, which included, but was not limited to:
Hair, by Princess Nee-Nee

Make-Up, by Princess Rhea-Rhea

Glitter (many varieties were available-spray glitter was enforced) by Princess Grandma Watermelon

Several serenades were performed by Princess Meadow

"Oh good, I'm STILL as pretty as ever!"

Cupcakes were decorated (taking breaks only to smell the fresh roses sent to Meadow from her handsome prince, who regretfully, declined participating in the social event of the year)

And now... for a little Princess Training 101:
The wave.

The curtsey.

The cake.
Let's just say, Meadow LOVED the cake Grandma Santa Clause made her...

A LOT!

A bite for Princess Meadow,

A bite for Princess Secret.

It's true... our baby girl is ONE today!

How well did Secret do on Princess Training?
Let's see, I think Meadow said:
First: Make a big mess... check.

Next: Smile and look incredibly cute... check.

And Lastly: Fall madly in love with "lamby" and give him a thousand kisses... check.

Yep, Secret. You passed with flying colors.
As for the third little Princess around our house...
Ya know the saying, "A picture is worth a million words"?

Obviously, big huge parties are NOT Princess Heaven's favorite thing.
The End.

Nothing

Last week I overheard a conversation between River and a friend. It went like this:

Friend: "So... what does your Mom teach the kids in preschool?"
River: "Pretty much... NOTHING."

(Thanks a lot, Riv, for the vote of confidence!)
