Rhea-Rhea had a MRI last week and guess what?? The tumor is
D-E-A-to the-D. I was able to go with her to meet with the Radiologist. He showed us the 2 sets of MRI scans: before and after the radiation treatments. It was clear that the radiation did it's job and kicked the tumor's butt. We are pumped! Now they will do a MRI every 3 months, to be sure the tumor doesn't get any ideas about growing back. The best way to describe the tumor is kinda like a "spider" that's been killed. It's shriveled up and dead... but still there. This is why they will keep a close eye on it for the rest of her life. What a blessing to have found the tumor so early! The doctor feels very confident that IF it becomes active and grows back, it won't be for a very long time... quite possibly never. It's been a stressful last 6 months and we are so happy for the good news. Thank-you, everyone, for your prayers. I know Rhea-Rhea feels the love.
