I'm Batty

At our Preschool Halloween Party,

We played out back,

Decorated cookies,

Got popcorn witches hands (from the nicest witch ever),

And had a little parade for the parents, to show off just how CUTE everyone was in their costumes.

For Halloween this year...

Raven was a Bakugan.

He designed and made his entire costume, including the mask.

He was the most excited to hang out with family,

And pass out candy to other Trick-Or-Treaters.

River was a Vampire.

A "Dead" Handsome one at that. (Edward-Schmedward!)

Only Uncle Tommy could rival River in the make-up department. (I think Tommy won).

Meadow had herself a heck of a time trying to decide between her "Best Brown Boy",

And her "Handsome Prince".

In the end, it was the "Older Man" that won. (Meadow later informed me that Greg is now her boyfriend, because she kissed him on the lips)


Heaven couldn't wait...

To trade in this mess of tulle,

For jammies, a slice of pizza, and a comfy cousin to snuggle up with.

Secret alternated between "Old Reliable" (Rhea-Rhea's lap),

And "New Acquaintances".

Me? I'm like Raven, I just love any chance to hang out with the people I love.

Seriously, I mean, who says markers can't double as lip gloss?

Martinez Mania

We are addicted to this CUTE family and are trying to soak up every ounce of them before they ditch us for (dumb old) Utah.

Heaven and Secret love it when Dan joins in on the fun. That way he can take care of their kids... which leaves Ileana's arms free to hold... Heaven and Secret.

River, busting a move at an outside concert we went to.

We love you, Martinez Family, and are counting the days till we come up to (dumb old) Utah and visit you guys!

Rhea-Rhea's Battle Bandits

Brain tumors SUCK!

But this sissy ROCKS!

A bunch of Rhea-Rhea Lovers got together to celebrate Rhea-Rhea's birthday and raise money for Brain Tumor research by participating in a 5K.

The Sisters did the 5K Foxy-Lady-Style: Butt Ugly T-Shirts promptly foxi-fied by our own personal fashion designer, Nat Ann.

Mom and Dad did the 5K Cutest-Parents-In-The-World-Style: No further explanation needed (just look at the picture and try to tell me they aren't the cutest parents in the world).

Raven did the 5K Raven-Style: Happy and completely in his own little world.

River did the 5K River-Style: Cranky... but still cuter than crap.

The girls did the 5K Bossy-Princess-Style: Shouting orders to the Queen, like "More goldfish!" and "Push us faster!".

Saige and Zack, did the 5K Skater-Style: Rocking the pink bandanas to the full extent.

The good news is, Rhea-Rhea is doing really good. She is a couple months into her Chemo and the tumor is responding well and shrinking smaller. Hopefully she will only need to do the Chemo for 6 months.

Panning for... Craw-Dads

Liz and I got brave over Fall Break and decided to take a Road Trip with these crazy kids.

The boys went Panning for Craw-Dads.

WAAAAAAY more fun than panning for gold (which was our original plan).

Meadow enjoyed dragging Cayden around.

Heaven enjoyed wandering around solo.

Seeky enjoyed joining a random teenager at a picnic table.
(Random teenager... not enjoying Seeky's company).

Who could reject a face this cute? Oh well, his loss.

No one drowned or got lost. Which means the trip was a success.
